Advice

Whilst the weather seems to express my mood, shining sun and stormy winds, my physiotherapist for the last 12 years advises me to go and buy a home trainer, to improve both muscles and condition.

Considering the fact that I have difficulties walking due to the chemo and the fact that I am extremely hyper motile – a construction “failure” by my parents :) – this is about the only thing I can do.

I sent an update message yesterday to my friends and business relations. I would like to quote from one of the reactions, as it offers an interesting view from a biomedical professional:

“The term “side effect” is related to the unknown regarding the complications associated with the action of chemical toxins to the healthy cells. This effect depends strongly on each person in a way that it is not well known nowadays. However, you have commented to me in other emails that you have intermittent cycles of wellness and discomfort (in several degrees). I feel that your cycles appoint to regulatory disorders that evolve in a systemic level as neuropathies and other complications. Notwithstanding, the existence of periods of wellness and concentration capacity suggests to me that your physiological system could be able to recover to its earlier state.”
