I just finished reading &lt;i&gt;Anticancer&lt;/i&gt;, a great book about improving one&#039;s odds by altering the &quot;terrain,&quot; the &quot;soil&quot; of one&#039;s tissue, the place where microtumors live and either grow or don&#039;t grow. You probably know about that stuff... it was pretty much news to me.  And one thing the guy says is, &quot;It&#039;s as if the immune system functions better when it&#039;s in the service of a life that&#039;s objectively worth living.&quot;  For me that includes absolute freedom to say &quot;Here&#039;s who I am! This is what the world looks like to me!&quot;
